YES! Smooth organisation is not possible WITHOUT PHONE. Please store our phone number on your phone. We will call you in URGENT CASES only!

CAN I CALL THE SKI INSTRUCTOR?

NO, this is not possible for privacy reasons. The ski instructor is responsible for the children. His full attention MUST be given to the children. SAFETY IS OUR PRIORITY!

Is the ski pass included in the ski course fee? SKI PASS REQUIREMENT

NO - the ski pass has to be purchased separately. A SKI PASS is REQUIRED at all lift facilities!

Toddlers born in 2009 and later, receive a FREE MINICARD. Course participation is not possible without a ski pass.

DO I HAVE TO BRING MY CHILD TO THE MEETING POINT AT THE FISCHBACHER LIFT?

YES! Please bring your child to the meeting point and pick it up after the course. In this way we have the possibility to talk to you.

DO I HAVE TO BRING MY CHILD TO THE MEETING POINT AT THE MOUNTAIN STATION?

YES! Please bring your child and pick it up after the course. The supervisory duty is with the parents until children are handed over to the ski instructor. The instructors' supervisory duty ends EXACTLY with the end of the course.

The ski instructors have a strict timetable. It is therefore not possible to pick your child up later. If you are late for picking up your child, please call the booking office at: Tel.: 0043 6414 20 541. The ski instructor has to go on with the next ski lesson and will not be able to organise care for your child - this is only possible through the booking office!

DO BEGINNERS (NEW ENTRY) NEED A SKI PASS FOR THE EXERCISE LIFT?

YES: all lift facilities require a ski pass. Our recommendation: SKI PASS FOR SEVERAL DAYS from the 1st course day

HOW MUCH DOES THE SKI PASS COST?

The SKI PASS PRICE depends on age, season and the number of family members.

FREE SKI PASS from the 3rd child in a family for the youngest child/teenager. Conditions: at least one parent and the first two children (born 1999 - 2008) or teenagers (born 1998 - 1996) have to purchase a ski pass.

WHO AND WHERE DO I INFORM IN CASE MY CHILD IS SICK?

It is not possible to inform the ski instructor directly. Notes to the instructor are not valid in case of CANCELLATION.

CAN I MAKE A BREAK OF 1 DAY IF I BOOK SEVERAL DAYS?

YES you can. This day will not be refunded and CANNOT be used at a later stage. We reserve the right to assign you to a different skill group when you return (and the skill does not match the other participants anymore)! The exercises in the courses build up progressively.

WILL THE COURSE TIME BE EXTENDED IF I AM LATE FOR THE COURSE?

No. The ski instructors have a strict timetable. Please be punctual. The best option is to be at the meeting point 10 minutes prior to the start of the course.

CAN OUR CHILDREN JOIN THE SAME GROUP?

If they are at the same level and the maximum number of participants is not exceeded, no problem! Please note, that we have 8 skill levels for advanced skiers.

CAN I LOOK AFTER MY CHILD DURING LUNCH BREAK?

In general, yes! You can pick your child up at the agreed time and bring the child back in time to continue the course.

...please pay the € 11.00 onsite.

CAN I RETURN THE FOOD COUPONS FOR CHILDREN?

You can return a maximum of 1 FOOD COUPON per CHILD and week. The refund will be made in the reservation office via your customer account. FOOD COUPONS may also be purchased daily. The purchase is booked to your customer account and listed by the instructor.

For logistical reasons, the ski instructor is ALLOWED to care only for those children at lunch, that have booked the current course inclusive of lunch care, and are therefore on his list.

CAN I UNSUBSCRIBE MY CHILD FROM LUNCH FOR 1 DAY EVENTHOUGH I HAVE BOOKED AND PAID FOR LUNCH CARE FOR THE ENTIRE COURSE PERIOD?

YES! Please come to the booking office before the start of the course. The lunch fee for this day will be refunded immediately.

CAN I RETURN OR USE FOOD COUPONS FROM PREVIOUS YEARS?

NO! It is impossible to check if the coupons were actually not used or consumed in the previous year. FINANCIAL CONTROL does not allow such things!

WHICH COURSE LANGUAGES ARE OFFERED?

Our mainly local ski and snowboard instructors work together with an international team.

They are from Germany, Holland, Denmark and Hungary. Regardless of their nation, all of our staff also speak GERMAN. In almost all groups the lesson is also possible in ENGLISH. During Dutch and Belgian school holiday periods, we employ more Dutch-speaking instructors.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO POSTPONE A COURSE IN CASE OF BAD WEATHER?

No, if you do not attend the course due to bad weather, the course cannot be postponed. Please note, that the course fee will not be refunded.

WHAT ARE THE CANCELLATION FEES FOR PRIVATE COURSES?

With presentation of a medical certificate:

Up to 2 days prior to course begin: 10.00 € handling fee
On the day before until 3 pm: 10% cancellation fee
On the course day until 8.30 am: 35% cancellation fee
On the course day after 8.30 am: 100% cancellation fee
In case of cogent reasons, we always strive to find goodwill solutions.

CAN I CHANGE A GROUP COURSE BOOKING INTO A PRIVATE COURSE BOOKING?

In general yes, if there is an instructor available during the desired time. We charge: the difference between the group course and the private course minus the already consumed hours/days.

WILL THE MONEY BE REFUNDED IF I GET INJURED OR ILL?

If you present a medical certificate by a local doctor, the remaining course costs will be refunded. We refund the difference between the amount paid and the consumed course days. CANCELLATION is possible only and at the latest on the day following the injury or illness in the booking office at the valley station of the Panoramabahn cable cars (not directly at the ski instructors).

WILL I GET A PRIVATE INSTRUCTOR OR A PLACE IN A GROUP COURSE AT ANY TIME?

Yes, if you book in due time. In case of short-notice bookings there might be some waiting times however, especially during peak season. In these cases we have a waiting list and will do our best to offer you a course place within the shortest time possible. We do not book on top of the maximum number of participants in a group.

ARE THERE GROUP COURSES OFFERED AT THE WEEKEND?

YES, for beginners! If you arrive during the week or at the weekend, you can participate at our "daily welcome" course. Bookable from Tuesday to Sunday. Course entry: Tuesday to Friday; maximum 3 days á 2 hours. Course times: variable. We reserve the right to assign you to an ongoing course.
"daily welcome" courses also take place with only 1 participant. Prerequisite for the course is that an instructor is available. Please note that these courses are extended ONLY IN EXCEPTIONAL CASES.

CAN THE PRIVATE INSTRUCTOR PICK ME UP FROM THE HOTEL?

Yes, under the following conditions

  • …if your Hotel/Guesthouse is located in the immediate vicinity or at one of the BUS STOPS OF LINIE 1 "SKIBUS ORTSVERKEHR" AND if you booked a MINIMUM of 3 hours of course from 9 am - 12 pm. The instructor will pick you up 15 minutes prior to course begin. COURSE ENDS AT MOUNTAIN STATION

  • …if you booked a "SPECIAL SERVICE" PRIVATE INSTRUCTOR.
    Pick-up and return service from/to the Hotel/Guesthouse
    for children: 2 X TEA break; cereal bar for in-between; 1 x lunch;

    ON REQUEST we can rent the equipment (for children) and can also purchase the ski pass.
